Director of Training

Mary Ella Smith serves as the Director of Training for CLASS, Inc., bringing more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the multifamily housing industry. Throughout her career as an onsite property manager, Mary Ella has worked with both REITs and privately owned communities, gaining extensive experience in property operations, team leadership, and staff development.

Known for her passion for teaching and building strong teams, Mary Ella has played a key role in training and mentoring professionals at all levels. Her experience also includes managing day-to-day property operations and assisting with new property acquisitions and transitions.

Today, Mary Ella combines her extensive industry knowledge and leadership experience to help CLASS, Inc. professionals develop the skills, confidence, and expertise needed to succeed.

Outside of work, Mary Ella can be found supporting the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at various sporting events or attending concerts at one of Atlanta’s music venues.
